Sugaring FAQ

1What is Sugaring?
Sugaring is a natural alternative to waxing. Sugaring only uses sugar, lemon, and water to remove unwanted hair using an ancient hand technique. If it is your first time getting this service, we recommend getting waxed your first 3 times.
2How long does the hair need to be?
A: 1/2″ - as long as a rice grain. Depending on how fast your hair grows, that is usually 10 - 14 days after your last shave.
3Is there anything I need to do after my appointment?
We recommend that you stay away from tanning, working out, or putting lotion on for 24 hours after your service. We also recommend that you exfoliate three times a week between appointments. The only time you don't want to exfoliate are the day before, the day of, and the day after your Sugaring appointment.
4How long does the hair stay away after Sugaring? How often do I need to sugar?
It all depends on what part of your body, and how often you get the service. Typically, you will need to sugar every 4 weeks.
5Do I need to prepare for my appointment in any way?
We do not recommend putting any lotions, deodorant, or oils on your skin prior to your appointment.
6I have sensitive skin; Is sugaring for me?
Yes! Sugar is a natural alternative for hair removal so it is perfect for sensitive skin. What we recommend is for your hair to be on the perfect length because it will be easier for the sugaring technique.
